Atlantic Salmon smolts are reared to an average size of 100gms at our Cressy hatchery, then carefully transported to our sea farms in the wilderness fed waters of Tasmania’s south west.

Petuna Atlantic Salmon is raised on the edge of the world heritage Wild Rivers National Park where a unique mix of tannin rich fresh water and chill sea water from the Southern Ocean enhances disease-free growth, all year round.

Tasmanian Atlantic Salmon commands a price premium over all other farmed Atlantic Salmon because of its pristine rearing environment, which reflects upon its quality advantages.

Once the Salmon life cycle is complete, the premium quality fish are transport back to our export accredited operations where we prepare the fish for the market. And our ability to supply the market with consistent, quality seafood, is the hallmark of our business and the strength behind the Petuna brand.

Petuna Atlantic Salmon comes in a variety of forms to meet various handling and taste needs including: Fresh Head on Gilled and Gutted, Fillets, Portions, and Smoked.

The average size of our Atlantic Salmon is 65 – 75cm, 3 – 5kg
